The Angler Restaurant & Dock Bar is located on Talbot Street and the bay in downtown Ocean City. Established in 1938, the Angler features breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the Sinepuxent Bay. Dine on great seafood including raw bar items and fresh fish or join us for happy hour or evening entertainment.
Deep Sea Fishing:
The Angler offers deep sea fishing daily on our 65 foot fiberglass party boat. Catches include sea bass, cod, trout and other varieties. Our nature cruises are one of our most popular attractions. We cruise by Assateague Island and off shore through the inlet which will give you the opportunity to view a variety of exciting wildlife.
Nature Cruises:
Travel Ocean City's bays aboard our 65' fiberglass party boat. Cruise the shores of our local National Park of Assateague Island, where ponies roam freely along barrier island shores. Waterfowl including Osprey nest in these areas as well. As your tour heads offshore to the Atlantic Ocean, you'll move through Ocean City's inlet, notoriously cut in 1933. Dolphins come to our Atlantic Ocean area during the summer months. Bring your camera for shots of these natural wonders.

What a fantastic restaurant with great views!
First off, this is a bigggg restaurant and bar. Has a huge dining area (inside and out) as well as a massive bar area. I did call and reserve a table and would recommend doing so. The atmosphere was great and had a very laid back vibe to it.
The food was good. We got the grouper bites and I wish they were a touch crispier but they did taste fresh. The grouper tacos were amazing and so was the Vodka Rigatoni.
Overall a solid setting for dinner. Definitely recommend this place.

Water front and they have a boat for tours.
I had reservation during the Labor Day weekend, so it was super busy, crowded and loud. But that’s Ocean City, watcha gonna do? Anyway, the food was good, but nothing to write home about…the service was great. I was impressed with or server. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and helped with recommendations. The desserts were outstanding. Highly recommend anything on the dessert menu, especially the tiramisu.
I would highly recommend taking the sunset boat tour after dinner! Fantastic time.
Also, park a block or two away, small parking lot.

We recently had lunch at The Angler on Talbot Street, and it’s a classic Ocean City waterfront spot with a long history and a relaxed, friendly vibe.
The view can’t be beat — sitting outside overlooking the boats and the bay makes for a pretty unbeatable backdrop. Service was generally attentive and personable, and seems like the happy hour deals could be a real draw.
On the food side, there were highs and lows. The seafood options are wide and fresh-feeling when they hit — grouper fingers and crab dip were great. Just a small observation that timing can be inconsistent. We noticed at least a few tables had delays, or dishes that were a bit under-seasoned or slow to arrive.
Try to get a patio or deck seat for the views and breeze — it really elevates the experience.
All told, The Angler is a solid bet for an Ocean City night — especially if you want a waterfront setting, a broad menu, and don’t mind giving the kitchen a bit of leeway. I’d come back — just maybe plan strategically.
