Captain's Galley Crab Cake Shack

This was hands down the best crab cake we’ve had so far! Practically no filler whatsoever and the homemade tartar sauce was incredible! We got the Sunday $25 special with salad and baked potato. Everything was so good and fresh. We will definitely be back next time we visit OCMD!

This shrimp salad beats my own! Hands down. Whole shrimp - tastes great and seems like the perfect ratio of ingredients. The crab imperial twins were perfect! The crabcakes are good. Service was very friendly and fast! I can see this being the neighborhood go to for shrimp and crabcakes. And that crab imperial!

I remember the original Captain's Galley. We'd come over from my parent's home in Salisbury, go to Assateague, take the kids to Frontier Town, and after a brief visit to the boardwalk (enough chaos for Dad!) always finished with dinner at The Captain's Galley before heading home. I'm so happy the crab cake recipe is the same! Best crab cake in OC. It warms my heart to see the original sign hanging inside and know the descendants are carrying on the tradition. Not only the best CC, but I feel a connection to my Mom & Dad (now gone) every time I go in because of fond memories with them in the original place by the harbor. Today I had the spicy CC sandwich w fries for $12.99. Delicious, and a bargain! Staff is always so friendly and helpful!
