Absolute 5-Star Experience Out of Ocean City—Limit Out on Tilefish & Great Amenities!We had an incredible trip with Fin Chasers out of Ocean City, Maryland! Our group consisted of myself, my two sons, my cousin, and my best friend. Because we left at 4:00 AM, the boat’s three sleeping areas were a massive plus, allowing everyone to rest comfortably during the transit out. Captain Dan managed the entire trip perfectly, keeping us safe and right on the fish.The mates, Mike and young Fisher, were absolutely amazing. They worked tirelessly to keep our lines ready and helped us every step of the way. We targeted tilefish and caught our limit. On top of that, we caught some sea bass, and one of my sons even reeled in a great flounder!We cooked up the catch the next day for my wife, my children, and myself. It tasted absolutely amazing, and my daughter even declared that flounder is now her new favorite fish! It was a fantastic, action-packed day on the water with a truly professional crew. Capt Dan is a great captain and knows where the fish are. His Mate Mike is very good at all of the things you don't think of when fishing. They are a great team. I realize that now they may be in high demand because of this review but it is a chance I am willing to take. He is that good.

Our first year on Fin Chaser, and what a trip to remember!

Cpt. Dan & first mate Dave from the very first hour of our offshore sea bass fishing trip were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Cpt. Dan notified us early morning of our May 2026 trip that it may be better to fish for sea bass due to increasing winds that would effect our deep sea tile fishing excursion planned, however he left us the option of doing either which was great when he could have easily kept with the plan and we be out of a lot more money. Instead we decided to go with black sea bass, having a very productive and active day. We moved frequently when it was clear the current spot was dry or drifting off the center of the fish. Very much on point if the current situations.

In the boat, and for the first time in our boating careers, there was almost a full size living area with couches, enclosure to protect from elements, a full bathroom and bunk bed. All available to us,making for a comfortable round trip ride.

Back on shore we were given an oppurtunity to smoothly sort out fish and take photos. There's also a multitude of bars and restaurants conveniently placed on the peer for post trip relaxation.
